PIONEER 10 NOW AVAILABLE ON iTUNES
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Feb 21, 2006 (Vancouver, BC) -- PIONEER 10's debut effort, "DELUXE," is now available on the iTunes Music Store.
"Today marks a milestone for us," comments Jeff Booth, founder and frontman of the band. "What started out as a bunch of songs written for friends, has now become available to everyone, everywhere. PIONEER 10 is accessible world-wide."
The online digital music distribution powerhouse, iTunes, has taken the legal download world by storm, and is the single largest and most popular digital download system in the world.
"Being online allows us to get closer to our fans," states Booth. "We can interact directly with our audience without record label censorship. I think that matters to people, since we're all looking for authenticity in an industry steeped in mediocrity."
In addition to ordering a copy of the CD through traditional music retail stores like HMV, FutureShop and Indigo/Chapters, the debut album can also be ordered online through Amazon.
PIONEER 10 are on a mission – no, not world domination – but an intergalactic coup d'etat [n 1: a sudden and decisive change of government illegally or by force 2: a brilliant or notable success]. Their debut record "DELUXE," recorded live to 2-track at The Factory Studios in Vancouver, offers a genuine audio assault of straight-up rock 'n' roll with a 21st century edge -- all the attitude any band needs in a galaxy as small as ours!
