PIONEER 10 ANNOUNCE OFFICIAL RELEASE DATE FOR DEBUT RECORD
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Jun 15, 2005 (Vancouver, BC) -- PIONEER 10 announce the official release date of the debut record, "DELUXE," set for Tuesday, July 5th, 2005. Advance orders will be accepted through the band's web site.
The release is scheduled to be available for download through online distribution systems like iTunes, Napster, PureTracks, Liquid Audio and more, in 17 countries around the world. Physical copies of the CD will also be available to order through the official web site.
"We plan on making our debut release available to anyone around the world with an Internet connection," says founder and frontman Jeff Booth. "Our fans have waited a long time for this release, and we're ready to rock!"
The album is also expected to be available in retail stores across Canada via special order.
The debut single, "False Alarm," continues to air across Canada coast-to-coast on commercial rock radio since its debut. The band is preparing to release their second single to radio, entitled "Tomorrow," in support of the album release.
Since recording the debut album in August of 2003, the band has been under discussion with a number of labels since completion in October 2003. "We've spent a long time promoting this record," says lead singer Jeff Booth. "This record is the first of many. We are excited to be able to offer this first release on our own terms!"
PIONEER 10 are on a mission – no, not world domination – but an intergalactic coup d'etat [n 1: a sudden and decisive change of government illegally or by force 2: a brilliant or notable success]. Their debut record "DELUXE," recorded live to 2-track at The Factory Studios in Vancouver, offers a genuine audio assault of straight-up rock 'n' roll with a 21st century edge -- all the attitude any band needs in a galaxy as small as ours!
