PIONEER 10 LAUNCHES OFFICIAL WEB SITE

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

July 1, 2004 (Vancouver, BC) -- Vancouver rockers "PIONEER 10" officially launched their web site this morning at 1 second past midnight. The web site features streaming audio, a comprehensive bulletin board for discussion on a variety of topics, a news section, pictures from the recording studio and past gigs. "We're really excited to get online," said Jeff Booth, founder and frontman of the band. "We are working hard towards the release of our first record, and our official web site will allow us to connect to our fans in an immediate kind of way."

Registering for the PIONEER 10 FORUM bulletin board gets you a DVD of a past show -- while quantities last. "We wanted to give something back to the fans that register," said Booth. "So we've created DVDs of shows we've done, and we're giving them away, while supplies last!"

You can see the new site by pointing your web browser to:

As for a set date on the release of the debut record, Booth said their press kit is currently being shopped, and the band is talking with several labels, aiming for release later this summer.

PIONEER 10 are on a mission – no, not world domination – but an intergalactic coup d'etat [n 1: a sudden and decisive change of government illegally or by force 2: a brilliant or notable success]. Their soon-to-be released debut record "DELUXE," recorded at The Factory Studios in Vancouver, offers genuine, straight-up rock 'n' roll with a 21st century edge that smacks of all the attitude any band with a brand-spanking new sound needs in a galaxy as small as ours!
